‘Graphics Skills’ Short Course: October – December 2023
The course will start after the Autumn half term and will take place in room A21, Tuesday lunchtime starting at 1.45pm.
First session: Tuesday 31st October and following Tuesdays to end of term.
The aim is to introduce students to traditional graphic design using a series of design and make tasks including line drawing and colour application skills that can be used across both Technology & Art subjects. There will also be a design and make activity linked to ‘Pop Up Card’ design with a Christmas theme.
The course is usually aimed at Year 7’s, however students from other years are welcome to join the group.
Topics included in course:
- Monogram Design.
- Sketch Isometric/Formal Isometric design.
- Design and Make ‘Pop Up Cards’
