Plymouth High School for Girls Alumni Community

Plymouth High School for Girls has a proud history dating back to 1874, built on a tradition of academic excellence, curiosity, and courage.  For generations, our students have gone out into the world embodying our school motto, “For life, not school, we learn”, carrying with them the values, ambition, and confidence nurtured within our community.
Our alumni continue to inspire us with the diverse paths they forge, the achievements they celebrate, and the contributions they make locally, nationally, and globally.
Below you will find a selection of pen portraits showcasing just a few of our former students and the remarkable journeys they have undertaken since leaving PHSG:

Tara Holloway - Class of 2016

Morwenna Broughton - Class of 2016

Ellen Bickley - Class of 2020

Amy Walter - Class of 2020

We love hearing from our past pupils.  If you would like to share an update on where life has taken you, whether you are just starting out, navigating a career, or reflecting on decades of experience, we would be delighted to include your story.

Please contact the School Office if you would like to update us on where you are now and what you are doing.

Together, our alumni community continues to live out our motto: "For life, not school, we learn"
