Work experience
Through work experience, work shadowing and networking, our students are able to assess their skills and make plans and decisions to help them obtain the required qualifications. These plans and decisions are career enhancing.
In Sixth Form, many students juggle school, part-time employment, volunteering, and being an active member of the Plymouth High community. This helps them understand the importance of a work-life balance.
Many students find additional work experience placements, after completion of the GCSEs and A-Levels, during holidays and study periods when they are in Sixth Form as they realise the benefits of work experience placements/volunteering are invaluable.
