Anti Bullying Ambassadors

During the 2022 winter term, we attended The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme that equipped us with tools needed to tackle bullying behaviour head on, transform our school’s approach to anti-bullying and create a safer, kinder school community.
Our programme is youth-led, with our student team leading the anti-bullying campaign as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.

Badges

To earn our first badge of The Diana Award to demonstrate our school's commitment, we organised and ran anti-bullying events and initiatives that encouraged positive well-being and kindness in our school community, including strengthening peer support systems by introducing our weekly Talk it Tuesday.

We are currently working towards our community badge, wearing our well-being badge with pride.

'Talk it Tuesday'

As student ambassadors, we have introduced Talk it Tuesday as a safe hub for all students who can approach us and talk about any issues or challenges they are facing.

Anti-Bullying Ambassador News

Plymouth High School's Anti Bullying ambassadors are delighted to announce that we have completed The Diana Award and have been awarded all three of the badges: Community, Well-Being and Diversity and Inclusion.

Our journey has seen us run a variety of successful campaigns and activities within our own school community and take part in Trust Wide Student Voice meetings where we have worked closely with other schools, sharing ideas and setting common goals. We have also been privileged to work alongside outside agencies to promote our schools' anti-bullying message and were excited when this resulted in an interview with ITV News.

We are incredibly proud of our achievements so far, and we look forward to the next school year and our continued commitment to raise the profile of our anti-bullying message within Plymouth High School and the wider TSAT community.
