Lunchtime and After-School Revision Sessions (GCSE and A-Level)

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students in achieving their full potential, teachers will be offering revision sessions during lunchtimes and after school throughout the academic year. These sessions are designed to help our GCSE and A level students prepare thoroughly for their examinations.
Why revision matters

Effective revision is key to exam success. It helps students:

  • Consolidate their learning and deepen understanding of key topics
  • Identify and address gaps in knowledge
  • Build confidence and reduce exam-related anxiety
  • Develop effective study habits and time management skills
What to expect in the sessions

Teachers will tailor sessions to meet the needs of their subject and students. Activities may include:

  • Focused topic reviews and examination-style questions
  • Guided practice with feedback
  • Study skills workshops (e.g. how to revise, memory techniques)
  • Small group discussions and peer support
  • One-to-one support where appropriate
  • NEA support for coursework tasks

We strongly encourage all students to take full advantage of these opportunities. A timetable of available sessions will be shared with students and posted on the school website and noticeboards.
