PHSG will be 150 years old in 2024 and the first part of our celebration has started with the ‘PHSG through the ages’ display in the main corridor. Students and staff have really enjoyed looking at some of the old images that have been displayed in the main corridor this week.
After the athletics trials last week, we are delighted to announce that some of our amazing PHSG student athletes have been selected to represent Plymouth in the Devon School Track and Field Championships at Exeter Arena on Saturday 11th June.
Thank you to everyone who baked cakes or came to buy cakes yesterday for our first ‘Bakes for Books’ cake sale. With your help we made an amazing £91.55 to spend on new books for the library
Abi and the Earth Alliance Team have been busy organising and helping to manufacture a batch of bee wild flower planters for their local community. Do you know of any local businesses, primary schools, nursing homes, offices etc with space to accommodate our bee planters?
PHSG has been celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with events taking place throughout the week, finishing off with our school's 'Big British Picnic' on the courts this lunchtime.
We are delighted to announce that Lyla, 9L, is the winner of the Student Planner design for 2022-2023
The School Aged Immunisation Team will be visiting PHSG on Monday 11th July to conduct the Year 9 routine vaccinations for Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (TDiP) and Meningitis ACWY (MenACWY). All Year 9 parents must complete the online form to either opt in or opt out of this vaccination.
