Sofia. Year 11, was shortlisted earlier this year to represent students across Plymouth in this year's Youth Parliament. Voting took place in schools across the city, and we are delighted to announce that Sofia has been elected as a Deputy Member of the local British Youth Council.

This term the Chinese club have been using the skills that they have learnt to write to their Chinese pen pals. They were brilliant with writing with the Chinese characters, and they were delighted to get the responses back this week.
On Thursday 31st March, sixteen of our students swapped their usual lessons for a virtual courtroom, playing roles such as barristers and witnesses to present two mock trials to a jury and real judges. They competed against schools from across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset to take the title, impressing judges with their advocacy skills, attention to detail and great teamwork.
Each year we submit artwork to the Rotary Club Art Competition which judges hundreds of entries from across schools in Plymouth. This year, Basma and Eva were awarded 1st and 2nd Prize for their final pieces completed at the end of Year 7 last year! We were also delighted to receive belated certificates and prizes for Georgia and Jennylee who won prizes last year, but whose certificates and prizes could not be delivered until now due to restrictions.
