Student of the week: Nerrisa, 7K. ''For quietly working so hard every French and German lesson and then coming out with amazing insights, answers and ideas, showing how well she is thinking.'' Nominated by Mrs Carter. Awarded 10 House points!
Class of the week: 8K Tutor Group. ''For being considerate and polite when rehearsing an event for their tutor. They checked with staff in surrounding offices and sought permission, so as not to disturb anyone.'' Nominated by Mr Graves.

Year 11 Food and Nutrition class with Mrs Brown. ''The students had their GCSE practical assessments this week and I have been so proud of the mature and enthusiastic way they have undertaken them. Everybody has put in a huge amount of effort and I have been blown away by the dishes they have produced.''
