Can you 'pasta' sauce please?

Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition students are currently completing a topic on cereals.  As part of this, they have been learning about wheat and making their own pasta. 

 

It is a challenging skill, but they have all shown great perseverance at both making the pasta dough and learning how to use the pasta machines. 

They also had the chance to choose a sauce to accompany their pasta, and we had a lovely range of bolognese, carbonara and marinara sauces.

Many of the students were pleased with their finished results and had great fun tucking into their food at lunchtime.
