Let's 'book' a lunch date

Part of the student librarian role is to complete a project which will be a benefit to the students and the library.  Hope, 9A, used her project to guide and encourage students who ordinarily do not like reading, or find it enjoyable.

Hope has spent the last year reading and researching books of different genres that are fast-paced and engaging. She has examined different review sites and drawn on friends knowledge of different authors to create a display, recommending books for students who are just starting off on their reading journeys.

To attract a new crowd of readers, the display has been created in the Newman Hall Refectory, to maximise its impact on a wider audience.

Hope designed the display herself, by creating a mood board and watching tutorials on paper craft and display design.

The Percy Jackson series has been a favourite of mine. I would recommend this collection for students who are getting into reading.
