Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 students were up for the challenge during their work experience debrief on Monday 10th July. Working in teams the students focused on the skills and personal qualities that an individual would need to be successful in the job sector that they had recently worked in.

Congratulations to both the Art and Design team and the Community Work team who were chosen by our Enterprise Adviser, Elaine Bleazard to receive the team winner certificate and badge; Elaine was impressed by the detailed account of the student’s experiences and their knowledge of the career skills that they had developed; Elaine counted a grand total of 20 different employability skills that were highlighted during the presentations!

Well done to everyone who took part, there were some fantastic work experience log books, CV building and career development skills being reflected on. Individual performance and outstanding work experience log book certificates were given to students who impressed teachers with the quality of their work.
