Student awards celebration assemblies

Our award winners have now been announced and celebrated at recent assemblies
This month, we held our Subject and Tutor awards celebration assemblies for Years 8-11. As is always the case whenever we have awards to present, all of our students enthusiastically supported the winners, it is one of the things that makes our school so special.
Across each subject area, staff nominated students for two awards: Endeavour and Achievement. The categories recognise students who have demonstrated exceptional determination, resilience and commitment to their learning, and also those who have excelled in their subject through outstanding attainment and success.

The awards highlight the many different ways students make the most of their education, whether through perseverance in overcoming challenges, a consistently positive attitude to learning, academic excellence, creative flair, or a passion for their chosen subjects. Together, the deserving winners represent the very best of what it means to be a Plymouth High student.
Choosing award recipients is always tricky given the huge pool of talent at PHSG, so well done to everyone who picked up an award!
If your child came home with an award and you would like a photo of them on stage, please email Miss Redmond on stephanie.redmond@phsg.tsat.uk
