Update from our Plymouth Youth Parliament representative

We are incredibly proud of Gwen and the commitment she continues to demonstrate in her role as a Member of Plymouth Youth Parliament
Over the summer break, Gwen M (9L) attended the annual UK Youth Parliament Conference at the University of Hull. This three-day national event brought together more than 350 young representatives from across the country and provided opportunities to take part in workshops, debates and discussions on a wide range of important issues affecting young people today.
In July, Gwen also represented Plymouth at a networking and development day in Taunton, working alongside fellow Youth Parliament members from across the South West and local council representatives to develop ideas and share best practice.
More recently, Gwen has participated in meetings with Livewell Plymouth to support the development of her campaign work on teenage mental health and has continued her active involvement as Plymouth Youth Parliament sessions resumed last week.
Gwen's dedication to representing the voices of young people, both locally and nationally, is a fantastic achievement and reflects her commitment to making a positive difference in her community. We look forward to seeing what she achieves next and are delighted to celebrate her ongoing success.
Well done, Gwen!
