School history unearthed

Our site team have made a wonderful discovery this morning!

Tucked away in a storage area, they found some PHSG school reports and admission records dating all the way back to the 1920s!

It’s incredible to see the names, handwriting, and glimpses of school life from over a century ago.  We can see from these documents that students in the 1920s (including Kindergarten) studied for exams in nature study, needlework and scripture with teaching staff commenting on their "intelligent interest" - a notable trait that is still evident in our PHSG students to this day!

These historic documents offer such a special window into our school’s past, and we can’t wait to explore them further!
