Welcoming new faces to the PHSG office team

We’re thrilled to welcome two fantastic new members to the PHSG team, Mrs Pippa Moody and Miss Jen Adams! They’ve already brought smiles, warmth, and a whole lot of enthusiasm to our school, and we can’t wait for you to get to know them better.

Mrs Pippa Moody – Attendance Office

Don’t let the surname fool you — Mrs Moody is anything but! With a sunny disposition and a genuine passion for student success, she’s here to make a difference in one of the most important areas of school life: attendance.

Why PHSG?
Mrs Moody comes to us from a dual role in Admissions and Attendance, but her heart has always been with helping students show up and shine. “Attendance has such a significant impact on attainment,” she says, “and while I may not be teaching, I know I’m contributing to their learning journey.”

What’s she most excited about?
Getting to know our students and working with them to improve attendance, one smile at a time!

What makes her approachable?
“I treat others how I’d like to be treated,” she shares. “And I always have a smile for everyone.” We can confirm: she’s already brightening up the corridors!

Fun Fact Alert! 🚢
Mrs Moody was baptised aboard HMS Amazon, where the ship’s bell was used as the font — and her name is engraved in it! How’s that for a nautical twist?

Miss Jen Adams - Receptionist

Coming from a background in independent hotels, Miss Adams knows all about teamwork, warmth, and creating a welcoming environment — and she’s bringing all that and more to PHSG.

Why PHSG?
“It’s a small school with a great community spirit,” Miss Adams says. “I love working in a close-knit team.” Sounds like she’s found the perfect fit!

What’s she most excited about?
Meeting our students and watching them grow throughout their PHSG journey. She’s ready to cheer them on every step of the way.

What makes her approachable?
“I’m a happy, smiley person and a really good listener,” she says. And we can already tell she’s someone you’ll love chatting with!

Fun Fact Alert! 👶
Miss Adams fits right in at an all-girls school — her family has had only 4 boys in the last 100 years! She’s also mum to a lovely 3.5-year-old daughter, continuing the tradition of strong Adams women.
