Student Success: Ten Tors Triumph for Carys and Isla

We are incredibly proud of Carys H (Year 9) and Isla P (Year 10) who completed the challenging Ten Tors 35-mile expedition across Dartmoor as part of the Plymouth Explorer Scouts team.

Carys took on the role of Team Leader, with Isla as Deputy Team Leader, and together they led their team successfully through the demanding route. Their leadership was instrumental in keeping the group motivated and united, especially in tough conditions.

The team faced scorching heat on Saturday and heavy rain on Sunday, not to mention illness along the way — yet Carys and Isla showed exceptional resilience, determination, and teamwork to bring every member through to the finish line.

This is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of their strength of character. Congratulations, Carys and Isla — you’ve made your school very proud!
