The Student Council team have been really keen to support the students at PHSG this year. For Christmas, we have recorded a Christmas message for the students and staff.
The Head Student are delighted to announce that our Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December, raised an impressive £458.85 for the charity Save The Children. Well done and thank you to all those who got involved.

Today, PHSG students and staff took part in the Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day.
Raffle prizes have been rolling in! Thank you to all students and parents who have donated prizes, we really are overwhelmed with the generosity of the PHSG family!
Although our Christmas lunch is unable to run in the usual way, the PHSG canteen staff have been providing Christmas themed meals throughout the week!
To achieve the Duke of Edinburgh award the students must provide evidence to show them partaking in the 4 sections. The students are currently concentrating on Sections 1-3 and coming up with innovative ways to achieve them.
From Monday 14th December students can take part in the library Christmas reading challenge. We have chosen a selection of books and concealed their identity by wrapping them in Christmas paper. You won't know which book you have chosen until you unwrap it at home.
Dominique and her health champion youth colleagues were nominated for an award at the National Barnardo’s Excellence awards.
Dominique is currently working with Barnados in trying to gather the views and opinions of young people on the impact of COVID 19 on young people specifically looking at return to school/ support provided and if any young people had any employment the impact this had on them.
