Year 7 have finally been able to get their hands on a sewing machine and produce a cushion cover that represents the theme and ethos of the National Trust.
Year 9 have finally been able to produce products in Textiles and have started with the Polymer bag project!
National Book Tokens are running a prize draw giving the library the chance to win £5000 worth of book tokens.
Year 7s have finally been able to get in our A20 workshop room and get to grips with tools and they have absolutely loved it!
After 20 years dedicated service, Mr Osborne has decided to retire at the end of this academic year.

Anxiety is not just feeling shy, it’s bigger and more complex than that, and it’s also a totally normal feeling of fear or panic. When humans face stressful situations it can trigger our ‘gut feeling’, the in-built body alarm bell we have, which tells us when we don’t feel right about something, and we need to deal with it.
Self-harming is difficult to talk about but very common, it’s when you hurt yourself on purpose. Usually it’s because something else feels wrong, it seems like the only way to let those feelings out. Self-harming is a symptom of another problem.
Depression isn’t just for adults, and it isn’t just being ‘a bit sad’. We all feel a bit down sometimes, but if these emotions and ‘feeling low’ last a long time or affect your daily life, then you may have depression.
