Our Year 9 Netball Team took to the courts once again this week to play against some our local school competitors.

Due to the very high level of trespassing on the tracks by young people our local area, Network Rail in partnership with Learn Live are working to help raise awareness to students across the UK, educating them about the dangers of the train tracks through interactive digital delivery. 

Our U14 netball team made it through to the Devon round of the National Schools Netball Tournament in Exeter on Thursday 18th November.

Today students took place in a range of activities to raise money for the annual Children in Need campaign.

We were delighted to be able to welcome back some of the City’s major employers to Plymouth High yesterday for our Year 11 Mock interview event. Our Year 11 students had the opportunity to practice their job interview skills during a mock interview.

Student of the week: Jacob, 13MAL, ''For teaching his class about the carbonate buffering system of the blood last Friday, doing a very good job. He even had a retrieval task and a salient slide.'' in Chemistry class, nominated by Mrs Hatfield.

Class of the week: Year 13 Diversity and Equality Group. ''For doing a phenomenal job over the last year in and around the school. They are now in the process of handing over to the current Year 12 cohort, so they can concentrate on their final push towards A levels. They have worked hard over the last 12 months, making real changes for the better.'' Nominated by Mrs Hoyte.
