Today students took place in a range of activities to raise money for the annual Children in Need campaign.
On Wednesday 17th November PHSG were delighted to welcome potential parents and students into school for our Sixth Form 2022-2023 entry.
We were delighted to be able to welcome back some of the City’s major employers to Plymouth High yesterday for our Year 11 Mock interview event. Our Year 11 students had the opportunity to practice their job interview skills during a mock interview.
We have now secured dates and venues for clinics in the Plymouth area and the Barnstaple area. These clinics are for those children in years Reception to Year 11 who would have missed their flu vaccination at school when we visited and are for the flu immunisation only.
Throughout the week Plymouth High’s LGBTQIA+ Alliance (lead by Lauren in 13MCA) sold rainbow shoelaces for £2 per pair to support th Stonewall charity. On Friday, the students were able to show their support by wearing them in school.
Anti Bullying week takes place in November each year and this year's theme is 'One Kind Word' #AntiBullyingWeek
We have had an unprecedented number of bookings for our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday, 17th November and are now fully booked.
Staff and Students from PHSG took part into the Tour de Moor last term in order to raise money for St Lukes.
