  • IET Faraday Challenge

    On Monday 28th April, a team of 6 year 8 students were invited to compete against teams from other local secondaries in the IET Faraday Challenge held at DHSG. The challenge comprised of trying to solve a real world STEM problem, this year’s theme focussing on using batteries in an innovative and sustainable manner.

    Student of the week: Neva, 9A. ''Neva has shown inspirational determination to succeed and to fully push herself over Easter. Despite being a late starter and not having previously studied any of the literature texts for the End of Year Exam, she has made extensive revision notes over Easter and has managed to read and deeply engage with a large portion of the novel in such a short amount of time. She has been keen to ask for feedback on her work and learn how to succeed at the very highest level.'' Nominated by Mrs Richards. Awarded 10 House Points.
