REMINDER – to parents of Year 10 students participating in the Silver DofE Award. The deadline for the payment of the £126 Silver Expedition fee is Friday 22nd April 2022. Please ensure that this payment is made by this date so that your child can be included in the Expeditions due to take place in May and June 2022.

We are currently recruiting for a Science Technician to join Plymouth High School for Girls. Successful applicants will be able to provide general and practical support in science laboratories and provide high quality support to the senior science technician and science teaching staff.
The Devon County swimming championships took place last term and this years meet was held locally at the Plymouth Life centre. Students from across the county competed, including our very own Student Leader, Klara.
This week, @nhbyhand owner Natasha Hutchins was in to judge our year 10 fashion project. Year 10 textiles students presented final skirt design ideas alongside their silk screen printed fabric. Well done to Eve who took home a £10 one for all voucher after her finished work was voted the most fitting to the brand.

In celebration of National Pi Day, PHSG students were challenged by our Maths captains to learn pi and attend a recital; remembering as many decimal places as possible of pi.
Cordelia, 7A, has been awarded her silver achievement badge for reading and reviewing 25 books from the school library.
Temple's new Sports Captain Scarlett, and her horse Apollo have been selected to represent Great Britain for the second time in an upcoming Concours de Dressage International competition at Keysoe.
PHSG are creating a new support group for students who have parents who are in the armed forces.
City College Plymouth, hosted the annual Young Chef Team Challenge completion last week and we are delighted that our student's skills and hard work was awarded with a prize.
