  • Cross Country Success

    A team of 26 students attended the Plymouth Schools event in November at the Staddiscombe playing fields and, despite the wind and mud, they all ran really well. Spirits were high and we had 6 top 10 finishers.

    Seven of the students have now been selected for the Devon Schools Cross Country Championships in Exeter in January, so we wish them good luck and good weather. Congratulations to Tilly D, Ruby S, Matilda H, Margot E, Ava P, Emily U and Molly G.

Our fabulous staff serve up a delicious feast of turkey, roast potatoes, and all the trimmings, creating a warm, festive atmosphere. With Christmas carols and cheerful tunes filling the air, students and staff come together to celebrate the season of joy.     This term, Year 9 students embarked on an exciting and challenging project in the Wearable Art unit, combining creativity, technical skills, and practical problem-solving to design and create a piece of wearable art. The project not only encouraged students to think outside the box but also emphasised the importance of the design process, from initial concepts to the final product.

  • ReBels Talent at PlymGive: Music for a Cause!

    Our very own sixth formers, Ellathea and Daisy, will be performing as part of 'ReBels Talent Development' at a new fundraising festival alongside other talented local artists, showcasing original music for an incredible cause. "PlymGive", an exciting fundraiser festival at Cafe Momus on December 14th, from 1:00 PM until late, supporting the *Save the Children* charity. All proceeds will provide vital aid to children in need across the globe, including in Gaza and Lebanon. Don't miss their set from 1:00-2:45 PM—come for the music, stay for the impact.

''Showed an outstanding understanding of German grammar rules in our lesson on word order on 3rd December and was able to put these rules into practice with speed whilst maintaining a high level of grammatical sophistication and accuracy.     Class of the week: 12D English Literature. ''For showing astounding independence, resilience, ingenuity, and brilliance when their teacher was slightly delayed. Superb attitude to learning and proactive response to a delay. Terrific board work, esprit de corps, demonstration of knowledge and understanding.
