Published 30/01/24Izzy (Year 11) was invited to play volleyball for Plymouth Mayflower Volleyball Club South West Ladies Team this weekend. Izzy played alongside Freya (Year 12) who is already an established member of the ladies' team. This was a great experience for Izzy playing volleyball at adult level.

National Rail: Strike Update
Published 18/01/24ASLEF members will be on strike at GWR (as well CrossCountry and Chiltern Railways) on Monday 5 February. On this day many parts of our network will have no service whatsoever, and where we are able to run, services will start late and finish much earlier than usual. Any customers that do travel should check before doing so at www.gwr.com/check. There may also be alterations to our services on the evening of Sunday 4 February and the morning of Tuesday 6 February.

Electron Microscopy at the University of Plymouth
Published 15/01/24On Thursday 11th and Friday 12th January, students from year 12 A Level Biology visited the Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre at the University of Plymouth. Students were given a detailed overview of techniques involved in both scanning and transmission electron microscopy, including sample preparation and applications of each method.
