At PHSG, Christmas lunch is one of our highlights of the festive season. Our fabulous staff serve up a delicious feast of turkey, roast potatoes, and all the trimmings, creating a warm, festive atmosphere. With Christmas carols and cheerful tunes filling the air, students and staff come together to celebrate the season of joy. It’s a day of great food, laughter, and holiday spirit – a perfect way to kick off the Christmas celebrations!
We require Exam Invigilators to support us through the busy exam periods. Your presence will maintain the integrity of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best.
This term, Year 9 students embarked on an exciting and challenging project in the Wearable Art unit, combining creativity, technical skills, and practical problem-solving to design and create a piece of wearable art. The project not only encouraged students to think outside the box but also emphasised the importance of the design process, from initial concepts to the final product.
This is the chance for PHSG students to get creative with our school food menu, as we’d like you to create a main meal dish suitable for a secondary lunch offer.

The PHSG Earth Alliance group has been working in conjunction with Derriford Hospital and their sustainability support department on projects at the Derriford Hospital site. This term they assisted in a litter picking project. This not only helped clean the hospital grounds, but also provided valuable insights into how the hospital manages sustainability amidst its challenges.
A huge well done to Eva-Rose, 8T, who competed in the City of Plymouth Speech and Drama Festival last Wednesday and brought home a Bronze medal in the "Solo Monologue" category for 12–15-year-olds. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to her talent, dedication, and hard work in the performing arts.
We are delighted to announce that Isabel and Bailey are the first recipients of the prestigious 150 Foundation Bursary.
