    Student of the week: Zara U, Year 12 "Zara wrote and delivered an inspiring assembly on LGBTQ+ to all Year groups.  She covered the history of the LGBTQ+ community striving for the right to live their lives in peace and free from intolerance. Zara spoke knowledgeably and with confidence and gave students much to reflect on. Well done Zara." Nominated by Mr Underdown and Miss Redmond.
    Student of the week: Kira C, Year 11 "For returning to school with a fantastic attitude for learning. For writing and delivering a great speech for her English Reading and being a huge support to the Year 7 students. Also, for performing an outstanding speech - really well done."     Student of the week:  Favour B, 11K "For teaching a friend some concepts and skills from Mathematics in a supervised revision lesson.  Her manner, expertise, and flair for explaining some complex processes was witnessed as being both 'beautiful' and 'impressive'.  Favour showed kindness, generosity, and an exceptional talent by working with her friend".  Nominated by Mrs Blunden-Currie and Miss Freeman-Alford.
    Class of the week:  10H/EN2 English - "We launched our Spoken Language Endorsement with Year 10 this week with a research lesson and students impressed us coming up with creative topics.  We have had a range of academic and sophisticated subjects - ranging from sensitive areas such as dementia and period education for boys, all the way to Mary I, religion, and how to escape the manosphere.  All students have been engaged and buzzing with their ideas and gaining wider knowledge.  I can't wait to hear their finished speeches!".  Nominated by Miss Readey.
