This Sunday, our very own Hummingbird Team will be racing at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit in the F24 Greenpower International Final, and we're all cheering them on! After an impressive 20th place finish last year out of 253 national competitors, the team is determined to soar even higher this time around.

If your child is in Year 7 to Year 11 from September 2024, they are eligible for a free Nasal Childhood Flu Vaccination. The immunisation team will visit our school on 2nd December 2024. Parents will need to complete the consent form in the article below for their child to take part.
Our Sixth Form open evening 2024 will be held on Thursday 7th November 2024 from 4:15pm to 6:30pm. Presentations in the Main Hall at 4.30pm and 5.15pm. No booking necessary.
We are delighted to congratulate Carys, 9A, on completing the Abbots' Way walk with her Scout group. Carys set off at 7am and completed 24 miles by 1630 as part of her Ten Tors training. This is the first time that Carys had done this walk, and she was very pleased to complete it within a good time. Well done Carys!
On the 15th October, our school canteen is turning up the heat to celebrate Black History Month with a special themed menu that showcases the incredible diversity of flavours from around the world. This exciting event, "Unity in Diversity," invites you to explore the rich culinary traditions that connect us all while honouring the impact of Black culture globally.
Year 8 students took their Food and Nutrition lessons to the next level today, by building on the basics they learnt in Year 7. This term, they’ve been mastering more challenging recipes that require advanced kitchen skills, particularly when it comes to chopping and food preparation. In a special lesson, we welcomed a representative from Chartwells, our school catering partner, to host a session focused on knife skills and safety.
The staff at PHSG gathered in the staff room today for a very special event: a Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues to come together, share delicious home made treats, and raise funds for a great cause—all while enjoying a well-deserved break!
On Tuesday 1st October, the Refectory will be serving a themed menu at lunchtime to add even more choice to tantalise the students taste buds.
