PHSG Remembrance

As a Naval city, many of our students and staff members have connections to our British Military. We will be marking Armistice Day with the national two-minute silence held at 11am today.

Remembrance is an opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. PHSG has held assemblies throughout the week on the importance on Remembrance and allowed students the opportunity to reflect on what this day means to them.

As a Naval city, many of our students and staff members have connections to our British Military. We will be marking Armistice Day with the national two-minute silence held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars around the world. Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.

Our Library Team have a wonderful display for students with recommended reading content and a quiet space for students to visit, seek support and reflect on the day.
