Mental Health Awareness Week 9 - 13th May 2022

This year's official theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is 'Loneliness'.

After the last two years of the pandemic, there has been a rise in feelings of loneliness and isolation. Many of us have been removed from or restricted to whom we can see and connect with, which has been detrimental to our Mental Health.

We only see a fraction of people’s lives, so it is important to take time to check in with friends, family and colleagues who:

 Are always keeping busy
Seem happy all the time
Come across as strong
Often go quiet
Are always there for others
Never ask for help
You never know how much your support can mean to someone.
