Year 10 Mathematics trip to the University of Plymouth

An enthusiastic group of year 10 students formed part of 200 visitors to the University of Plymouth's Mathematics faculty today for a series of enrichment workshops and some insight into post GCSE Mathematical studies.

Students were challenged Mathematically to apply their thinking to brand new concepts including The Monty Hall Problem, Tortuous Topolgy and competed to build Baryons and Mesons in a particle theory challenge.

The students were delighted to hear that their teacher had! A fact that will hopefully soon be forgotten. The students had a great day,
