PHSG Year 11 taster sessions are off to a great start
As part of the Information and Guidance (IAG) offered to our year 11 regarding their post-16 options, they have the opportunity during the first two weeks of this term to experience A level taster sessions.
Mrs Mills has worked really hard to ensure all subjects that are new to our students at A level have a slot available for our students to select.
The image able shows Mr Baines delivering a Psychology session, encouraging the students to engage, make judgements and question set norms.
The taster sessions are a vital aspect to the IAG in allowing our students to really appreciate the depth and challenge of A levels. The aim is then for students to make the right decision regarding their choices allowing for progress to be made from day 1 in their next Post-16 chapter.
