Meet the Head Student Team
Ellen
Head Student
Hi! My name’s Ellen and it’s an absolute privilege to be Head Student and Head of Student Council for 2026.
I’m so excited to be part of building and maintaining the student voice at Plymouth High and I’d be delighted to hear your thoughts and what matters most to you, whether this be in Student Council meetings or even just by sending me an email or chatting to me!
As a Head Student Team, we are really looking forward to bringing openness, positivity, engagement and a sense of community in the upcoming year!
Zara
Deputy Head Student
Hi, I’m Zara, and I’m the Head of Inclusivity and Diversity for PHSG 2026!
I am very honoured to be a part of this year’s Head Student team, and I can’t wait to work alongside the other members!
I’m really excited to bring fresh ideas to the school and build on the welcoming and inclusive environment PHSG already has. My aim is to celebrate diversity and encourage kindness, understanding, and open-mindedness throughout the school.
Your ideas and involvement really matter, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts or say hello if you see me around school!
Catarina
Deputy Head Student
Hi, I’m Cat, your new Deputy Head Student and the Head of Charity and Wellbeing.
As an external student, I’m very excited to have such an amazing opportunity that allows for me to contribute and develop new ideas into PHSG's future charity events and the mental health support system that’s already prevalent within the school.
I’m excited to start working on new events and projects with the new Head Student Team, to help better the community, and create a welcoming environment for any student who attends PHSG.
Our new team is passionate and dedicated, and we will try to help students with anything that they need. Please feel free to find us around campus.
Béatrice
Deputy Head Student
Hi, I'm Béatrice. I am super proud to have been selected to be magazine editor and a member of the Head Student Team 2026 and Head of the Student Magazine. I am really excited to be part of a group that is passionate about representing student voice and creating positive change.
I am looking forward to creating a magazine that will reflect the creativity, diversity and achievements within the school. If you have any ideas, suggestions or would like to get involved, please feel free to approach me in school.
I can't wait to see what the year has in store and to begin this new chapter.
