Maths superstars celebrated with a 'cool' treat

Students in Years 7–9 enjoyed a sweet reward today as we celebrated outstanding commitment to their Sparx Maths homework
To recognise the impressive achievement of completing 100% of every Sparx Maths homework task correctly since Easter, successful students were invited to collect a free ice lolly or ice cream at the end of the school day.
The playground was filled with smiles as staff handed out a selection of frozen treats to students in exchange for the vouchers they had received from their tutors.
We were delighted by the large number of students who met this challenging target. Their dedication, consistency and determination to achieve full marks week after week is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the positive attitude that Plymouth High students bring to their learning.
A huge congratulations to everyone who earned this reward. We hope you enjoyed your well-deserved treat, and we look forward to celebrating even more Sparx Maths success in 2026/27!
