PHSG student Eloise M (7L), alongside Summer G and Flossy M – both of whom will be joining Year 7 this coming September – represented their hockey club, 'Plymouth Lions', at the U12 Regional Club Tournament last weekend.  Balancing family commitments during the Easter break with their sport, the team delivered an excellent performance, winning 3 of their matches and finishing 4^th in their pool.  They went on to place an impressive 8th out of 15 teams overall, meaning these three hockey legends are officially part of the 8th-best U12 club team in the West of England.  Great work, girls!

I am always delighted to see students embracing opportunities beyond the classroom, putting our school motto “For life, not school, we learn” into action.  Well done to Eloise, and also to Summer and Flossy, who we look forward to joining us in September! – Mr Underdown
