Countdown Competition
Our recent Channel 4 Countdown inspired competition was a fantastic event, attended by enthusiastic Year 7 students and some year 12s. The atmosphere was electric as participants showcased their impressive word skills and quick thinking with mathematics.
Throughout the competition, students demonstrated their prowess with words like "Taxed" and "Floss," impressing everyone with their vocabulary. The highlight of the event was the challenging 9-letter conundrum, where students tackled complex anagrams and even solved the conundrum "STATESMEN".
A huge congratulations to all the students who took part in the competition. Your hard work and dedication were evident, and you should all be very proud of your achievements.
Special recognition goes to our winner, Gabby in Year 7, who excelled in every round and emerged victorious. Well done to her from 7A. Well done to 7K who had the most competitors.
