Lunchtime Quiz Fever: The 1% Club Takes Over the Gym!
Lunchtime in the gym turned into a battle of brains this week as students from all year groups came together for our very own version of The 1% Club!
Hosted by the ever-charismatic Miss Roughton (Deputy Head and part-time game show host!) and the quick-witted Miss Carter from Maths, the quiz challenged students to outsmart a series of head-scratching puzzles and logic questions. The the atmosphere was electric, and the competition was fierce!
Top marks to Harriet B in Year 10, who flew through the questions and made it all the way to the 15% level—the furthest of any student. A real brainy badge of honour if there ever was one!
And let’s not forget poor Mrs Brown, who had the dubious honour of being the first contestant out—better luck next time!
With plenty of laughs, a few groans, and lots of “OHHH now I get it!” moments, it was a fantastic lunchtime full of fun and friendly rivalry.
Those all important House point were awarded to all contestants!
We can’t wait for the next round—watch out, staff... the students are coming for the 1%!
