Teacher of Science (maternity cover)

0.66 Contract

Required for September 2017

 

We wish to appoint a highly qualified, dynamic and inspirational teacher with a proven ability to engage and motivate students.  The post holder must be able to teach across the Sciences at Key Stage 3.  The Science Department is extremely supportive and well-resourced and the school provides a stimulating and friendly environment in which to work.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • Have a real passion for teaching.
  • Have proven experience of maximising student outcomes.
  • Be forward thinking, creative and well organised.

Art Technician (maternity cover)

Grade C, 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Required from September 2017

 

We are seeking to appoint a Technician to support the Art department.  The successful candidate will:

 

  • Have some knowledge of art practice
  • Have knowledge of art materials
  • Be a strong team player in order to work closely with the Art Team
  • Be able to work in both 2D and 3Dimensions
  • Have some knowledge of photography to keep record of students’ work
  • Take the initiative and be adaptable
  • Be able to organise exhibition work within and outside school
  • Have computer skills
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic
